[mslee's thoughts] Secret Episode 12 - Short Review

I know this is really late reaction to episode 12, but let me just share my thoughts about it. The drama has been doing great and my anticipation is really rising up every week that when I finally watch, it drains me and my energy. All I want to do is digest every little thing I saw. The intensity of each week's episodes are so much to take in and just like now, I am at a loss on how to make a proper recap for last night's episode. So for now, just some ramblings from mslee and how I enjoy it.

The unexpected kiss happened at the ending scene of this episode. The kiss started from tensed atmosphere, from repressed emotions of Min Hyuk to Yoo Jung. It's understandable that she would be struggling as he surprised her with his forceful kiss. Min Hyuk knows what he feels for her. Yoo Jung is not yet fully aware. She had just awaken from a long painful love that dragged for a long time.

As Min Hyuk stopped kissing her and just let her feel his sincerity, that second kiss was more tender and while tears rolled down on her cheeks, she stayed and not struggle anymore. She finally accepted his kiss.

I wonder if YJ will now turn her attention to her "boss". I hope so. It's not that she needs him to make Do Hoon regret but I think together, they will heal from the pains of the past.

This episode is a continuation of YJ's new goal in life. To move forward and to avenge her child and father. Another brilliant play of the writer to make me see DH's vulnerable side. To make me hate him and at the same time to think that he is also a good son to his parents. And that at the end of the day, he knew that what he is doing is wrong but he doesn't intend to stop. That even if he is attracted to Se Yoon, he is not taking advantage of her.

The same for SY who is becoming arrogant and mean to YJ. She already realized MH has fallen in love with YJ. The question is, will she continue to be "the take for granted" fiancee? DH already assured her he would try to split MH and YJ. At what cost, I still have no idea. A pity because I truly like SY. I thought she will remain one of those wealthy second lead character that won't turn clingy and jealous. I thought she had a good head and that she can take care of her heart. An elegant woman who is not mean.

The thing with DH, he is trying to defeat and corner MH with all the means he can have. And everything, he had achieved by playing dirty. The fight is getting too personal for DH. I hope he remembered that all happened to him because he run away first from his mistake/sin.

I am glad MH character developed. Well, all four characters revolved and that's what makes the story interesting and gripping. I wonder about the mom of DH. Clearly, she has her own secret.

With four episodes to go, I think the climax of the story will soon come. Secrets will explode.

Mianhe, this is all I have to share. Just  my thoughts. Like I said, the drama is so good it drains my mind. [laughs] so will just selfishly enjoy every scenes in my head.

Some kiss screen caps only... Hope you enjoy the episode, too.

[mslee's thoughts]HEIRS Episode 8 - A Short Review

Tan confessing his feelings. If during in LA he asked if he likes her, now, he is more sure of what he is feeling towards her. I know it's getting harder and harder each day for Eun Sang to fight her emotions but she is doing her best to control what's inside her. She cried born out of frustrations and Tan hugging her was enough to convey he is there and won't disappear. I suppose this is really the start of Tan's courage to protect her no matter what.

There are many problems ahead but Tan is ready to face them.

And hoping Young Do's growing attraction for Eun Sang will not make Eun Sang fear loving Tan just to protect him. But of course, she is still not gaining that much needed courage to face Young Do and tell him what she thinks of him.

The story is still slow and although I am loving the scenes of Tan and Eun Sang, something is still missing. That crazy romantic feelings a viewer like me should feel in moments like this. Or maybe I am an unni so teenage romance is not my cup of tea anymore? I don't think so.

They should build more tension for these two. Or perhaps Eun Sang's reluctance is making the atmosphere less intense.

Another couple that I want to see conquering their conflicts are Won and the tutor. They look good together and I think finding love form her will make him less cold towards Tan.

Well, the animosity just turned a notch between Tan and Young Do. Now that Tan is not caring what people thought of him and Eun Sang, he is making everyone see his claim towards her.

Tan is really proving himself in front of Eun Sang regarding his intentions. The ending did not disappoint me. The kiss happened. And hoping Eun Sang will finally accept him.

Two souls who have something to prove for themselves. I hope they take each other's hand as they conquered each fears.
