[mslee's thoughts] The Legendary Witch Review

This drama keeps me smiling every time, whenever Wo Seok and Soo In are together on the screen. He is definitely falling in love with her. Soo In is still clueless but she is slowly catching up with his undevided attention directed towards her and some comments made by Joo Ran.

He can't keep himself from visiting her at her food truck with the excuse of lunch. Even he is honest enough to tell Joo Hee that Soo In is the woman he has in mind. But when customers particularly men joked around with Soo In, asking for her number, Woo Seok is not finding it funny. When some more men went to her food truck he immediately wore the extra apron and help in preparing the toast breads. The men assumed he is the husband and he did not correct them to Soo In's surprise.

I love the pacing of the romance as for now. The building of relationship between these two is fast. But then I dread the possible intervention of Chairman Ma to make Woo Seok as his next son-in-law. I am seeing the same formula used in One Hundred Years Legacy where sisters-in-law get caught up in loving the same man.

So far the mystery of Woo Seok's past has not been revealed but he is definitely Jin Soo, the assumed dead son of Bok Nyeo. I am intrigued by the reaction of Aeng Ran on some misunderstandings in the family as if she is an outsider, not interested even if something bad will happen. There is a hidden agenda in her and I think it has something to do with what happened in the past. I also think that Chairman Ma knew exactly who Woo Seok is and perhaps he had a hand in making him separated with his mother and brought to the orphanage. All secrets are buried beneath the tree in the photo where Bok Nyeo's house used to be.

Joo Hee is not letting Woo Seok go that easily. She has decided to fight for him. Will she be a sneaky and vindictive other woman?

The ongoing bickering between Mr. Tak and Poong Geum gives the viewer a taste of fun but I think it has dragged long enough and it should be resolved in the coming episodes. Let them have their own kind of adult romance. LOL!

I pity Do Jin for being a Mama's boy. But who can blame him when he has only a mother who loves him. She has promised him that she will let him do what he likes once he married the woman of their choice. But then, this rich woman has her own secret and I think she already has a child. Both families are hiding something from each other trying to catch who they think is the answer to their child's mistakes of having already son or daughter out of wedlock.

I love the coming back of this ahjumma on the scene. She won the lottery and now she is a rich ahjumma newly released from prison. The nice thing about her is that she went to see the four women she used to abuse and fight with until they share a common cell.

The ahjumma who brings laughter from singing "Gen..gen..gentleman!" I love that she is going to share some of her money.

I wonder who is the legendary witch? Maybe ahjumma 911? Lol!
