Lee Jun Ki's new drama Scholar Who Walks The Night is another vampire inspired theme that will broadcast next week replacing Warm and Cozy on it's time slot via MBC.

Guess, this one will be added in my watch list. 

I love the cast. With Lee Yoo Bi, Lee Soo Hyuk, Shim Chang Min and Kim So Eun joining Lee Jun Ki.

Plot

A daughter from a collapsed noble family, due to being branded a traitor, dresses up like a man and goes out to sell books. She meets an attractive scholar walking at night, but the scholar is actually vampire.

  1. Drama series will takeover the MBC Wednesdays & Thursdays 21:55 time slot previously occupied by "Warm and Cozy".
  2. Based on webcomic "Bameul Geotneun Sunbi” by Jo Joo-Hee (writer) & Han Seung-Hee (illustrator) via webtoon.daum.net/market/view/13989) and the webcomic was first published as a comic on December 25, 2012 by Seoul Media Group. 
  3. Actress Jin Se-Yun was offered the lead female role, but declined the offer.
  4. Lee Joon-Gi and Lee Yoo-Bi were injured while filming for the drama series on June 10, 2015. Actor Lee Joon-Gi fractured his nose and actress Lee Yoo-Bi injured her waist. Lee Joon-Gi resumed filming on June 18, 2015 and Lee Yoo-Bi resumed filming on June 25, 2015.

Honestly, I was not so eager to watch the final 2 episodes. Why? Perhaps I know the story is nearing it's end and there'll be no more Secrets to look forward to next week, Why do great dramas end so fast? Hmmm...sighing here. this is somewhat long... Episode 15 Anyway, last week's ending was another cliffhanger for viewers. The question hanging in my mind was, will Do Hoon win in this game he planned? Finally I am writing my thoughts on episode 23. Even in this last episode, the King never took time to understand the heart of Prince Gwang Hae. It was so easy for him to think that Prince Gwang Hae will take his seat away from him. Yes, Gwang Hae admitted thinking of being a King but it does not mean he has a mind that could be accused of treason. Prince Gwang Hae advised his father that it should be the people he must worry about and not his face because what happens to the lives of the people makes a King's face. The King has not had the face of a king until now because he lacked the understanding and the heart of what his duty entails. His people are not happy and still suffers that's why those transcend to him as the King who over looks on them, giving him the face of not suited to be King.
